how i prepared for pgi...

hi buddies.i am posting my experiences in preparing for pgi exam..i would like to say that those who are at the verge of exams should not take too much advice.already you might have prepared the builk.keep going with that.its not beneficial to change the strategy at this crucial time...

pgi chd have entirely different pattern and are easy to crack..

in pgi chd. only DENTAL QUESTIONS ARE ASKED except for 2-3 q in anatomy and gen patho each and rarely 1-2 basic questions in pharmacology,medicine very rarely(u can keep these aside for these exams)

concentrate on dental subjects only

its like baking a cake for that u need a right ingredient(books)

be thorough with
dental pulse
gowri shankar
bhatia
boucher mcq(only dental subjects) though its alternative to boucher
national boards(clinical)

revise these books as many times as u can....atleast u can expect a good rank
and get d past papers of PGI CHAD.

PGI papers have greater than 70% repeat questions...

FOR PGI CONCENTRATE MORE ON
* orthodontics
* pedodontics(trauma)
* fluorides
* community dentistry
around 50% question is from ortho n pedo only
20% from fluorides
rest from remaining subjects...
thats it...

its not an easy thing to crack...needs quality time to spend..its just like pg preparation...u have to very focused.
whatever i m going to write is my true experience...different people holds different opinion..but atleast i would say it would definately help u to understand girls better...
